Hi
I and my wife want to start business ( daycare/pre school) and want to know below details.We both have Green card.
1) Do I need to open LLC or INC for this ?
2) I have home loan so will I get business loan for new property.
3) We already Identify property in our area.

Hi ,
My husband has a conviction for domestic violence. he was not jailed but is under probation. he is on h1b visa and i am on h4. his i140 was approved before the conviction. also both our visa extension were approved prior to that. currently visa stamp in both our passport has expired but we have valid i-94. i need to visit india for urgent family health issue. if i go i will need to get a new stamp. Can his arrest result in my visa getting denied at consulate. Or will it create any problems for me at port of entry?. he is not going to travel with me

In above link, how is it possible to have pending I-485 (EB2) for 2008 & 2009 for India? If i remember correctly the priority date for India has reached upto Jul 2007 only so far.
could someone pl. educate me?

Hi Folks
just got my GC. Now if I contract for a security clearance job, like Armed forces, or Defense related one through the same employer that sponsored by GC, CAN I BE ELIGIBLE for a waiver of the 5 years waiting period -to what extent is is waived ....100% or only part of the 5 years wait, if at all .
My Company is a US Defense Vendor .
Can someone pt me to the right place where all this is clarified.
Also would the same kind of waiver apply if you work for a Govt agency or it is strictly defense...

Hi,
I have filed for my I-485 application (based on a approved I-140) in July 2007. At that time I also filed for another I-140 based on a substitute labor that I got which had a earlier priority date.
Now that new I-140 that I filed with substitute labor is approved. I am looking at possibility how I can use this new I-140.
I heard there is something called changing underlying I-140 application. Can someone explain this and tell me how I can use it in my case please.

Here's my take on the new Visa Bulletin First, bad news for Dominicans. Separate cutoffs have now been established for the Family First and 2B preference categories which are now earlier than the worldwide dates. Family First is 01 JUN 2004 and 2B is 01 JAN 2002. Saw in a IV post (looking for the link) that an NSC IO told that they will adjudicate applications with Name Check pending only if they dont hear back from FBI by November,08. Below link may offer some clues on why "November".

Not to read too much in to what one IO might have said...but Wanted to see if there is any truth to this as I remember seeing folks approved with Namecheck pending on some forums. So pl. post here if you fit in to the above category.
God only knows what is in stock for November visa dates.

As the article stated there are 47 million latinos and majority of them are citizens.....we don't have that kind of numbers to make an impact on either party.
